1. Event Descriptions

Any information provided on the P1Karting site or on any literature you may receive is correct at the time of print, however, the content, format or price may be subject to change, especially during the out of season period (Oct - Feb). Due to the volume of bookings customers will not be updated of such changes. For a full update on any experience or track day you have booked, please view the website, our social media pages, or contact info@p1karting.com Please check details on your confirmation email carefully upon receipt.

2. Website Pictures/ Images

Any pictures or photography used on the P1Karting site in conjunction with products, experiences or track days are used as an indication only. The vehicles and locations will vary within the range available and the exact specifications may not be exactly as portrayed on the website however the website and equipment will be kept up to date as often as possible.

3. Restrictions

Each driver will need to be over 18+ to drive, under 18's may participate given they are accompanied by an adult. Each driver will have their own height and weight restrictions for the equipment provided. Mainly for comfort and safety, these are usually a height between 4’11” – 6’6” and a weight below 17 stone. You must be of a minimum age of 16 years to drive, please check before you book that the participant(s) meets the requirements. P1Karting.com will not provide refunds for customers who forfeit their booking due to failing the restriction guidelines (this will be at the discretion of the provider on the day). Other rules and regulations will be reiterated during the safety briefing. P1Karting will not refund or compensate any customer removed from the track for failing to abide by these rules.

4. Availability and Booking Dates

At P1Karting, days of operation are offered subject to availability of the venue selected. We offer experiences on a Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday. To avoid disappointment, please book as early as possible, especially for peak times such as weekends and the summer months which book up very quickly.

Please note spaces and dates are not shown online, therefore please email info@p1karting.com and specify the date and location of your preference. All enquiries are pending on a request basis, and we will do our upmost to secure your preferred choice of package, venue, and date by contacting you as soon as possible.

When agreeing to purchase an experience day (either by phone or email) you are legally binded to have read and agreed to our terms and conditions.

5. Payment

All packages require a non-refundable deposit (following confirmation of availability at your chosen venue on your preferred date) and this amount is dependent on the package you choose. Should you wish to proceed with booking your P1Karting experience day, our team will advise on the payment instructions along with the amount of payment that is due and relevant documents to sign and return. The final balance will be due on the day of arrival at the track.

N.B Methods of payment we accept are credit card, debit card (Visa, Mastercard), PayPal and Bank Transfer.

6. Session Lengths

Most experiences usually run in group sessions. Any session lengths/ event times displayed with each experience or track day are approximate from the point of arrival to departure. Occasionally an event format may need to be adjusted for which you will be notified as soon as possible. P1Karting will always try to reduce your waiting time between sessions to a minimum. Please note we cannot be liable for longer wait times in peak season, as this is beyond our control.

7. Cancellations and amendments by you

Cancellations will be charged at a loss of deposit per package. In some circumstances, it may be possible for us to contact the venue to make an amendment to your package, but we hold no obligation. All amendment requests must be outside 14 days and are subject to admin fees.

8. Accidental Damage Waiver

All packages will incur a non-refundable charge called an Accidental Damage Waiver (ADW). This charge is compulsory and is included within the P1Karting package advertised. The ADW is used to cover accidental damage that may occur on the track and has maximum limits for damage caused to any part of the kart but excludes negligence and vandalism. For any accidental damage that exceeds £800, or for any instances of negligence or vandalism, we reserve the right to invoice you for immediate payment.

9. Cancellations and changes by us

P1Karting uses a small range of venues, karts and locations. In the rare event where specific elements of a package such as vehicles or equipment are not available due to mechanical breakdown, we reserve the right to make reasonable substitutions on the day. Please be aware that this could involve a change of venue, date, vehicle, and itinerary. If this is not possible, we reserve the right to cancel the experience at short notice.

Should a venue close at short notice due to reasons beyond our control, we will do our best to notify you as soon as possible and re-arrange a date or where possible, issue a cash refund. Please note, refunds may take up to 14 working days to reach your account.

10. The Weather

Your experience day may be dependent on suitable weather conditions. If your event is cancelled or delayed due to the weather, prior to the event taking place, you usually will be able to re-book, but not in all cases.

We strongly advise you check the specific weather terms before booking. Your amendment remains subject to availability and the weather conditions. Most karting experience days will only be cancelled in severe weather as we are fully equipped for most conditions.

Please note you are bound by the terms and conditions of the venue when it comes to weather affecting your experience day. If an venue is cancelled due to weather conditions, please assume that only credit for a rescheduled event with the same value will be offered and not a cash refund.

11. Liability

P1Karting has valid public liability insurance, waivers will be provided and must be signed on the day. Further information will be explained in the safety briefing. Failure to comply could result in a cancellation of your experience day with no refunds due.

In the event of an accident or injury, these must be immediately reported to us at the time of the accident in order for us log an incident report. 

12. Force Majeure 

Except where otherwise expressly stated in these Booking Conditions, we will not be liable or pay you compensation if our contractual obligations to you are affected by "force majeure".

For the purposes of these Booking Conditions, force majeure means any event beyond our or our supplier’s control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all reasonable measures had been taken. Such events may include war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, actual or threatened terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire, significant risks to human health such as the Coronavirus and its ongoing effects, or SARS, pandemics, epidemics, or the outbreak of serious disease at the location of the track and all similar events outside our control which make it impossible to travel safely to the event.


Other force majeure measures may the be guidelines from the government or other national or local authority including port or river authorities, industrial dispute, labour strikes, lock closure, chemical or biological disaster, unavoidable technical problems with transport and all similar events outside ours or the supplier(s) concerned’s control.

13. Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers can be purchased on request by emailing info@p1karting.com. All Gift Vouchers purchased must be paid in full and will often need to be redeemed before the end of a set date unless stated otherwise. After this date, the voucher will be cash value only until it expired.

14. Special Requests

If you wish to make a special request, please book your chosen package, and email us as soon as possible after booking to info@p1karting.com stating your booking reference, package and dates of your P1Karting experience.

We will try to pass any reasonable requests on to the venue if applicable, but we cannot guarantee that requests will be met. The fact that a special request has been noted on your confirmation email or any other documentation, or that it has been passed on to the supplier, is not confirmation that the request will be met. Failure to meet any special request will not be a breach of contract on our part unless the request has been specifically confirmed in writing by us. Please note we accept no liability for any item / arrangement not confirmed on our email confirmation invoice.

15. Complaints

We welcome your feedback on our experience days you book via our website as well feedback on our own customer service. All complaints/ feedback will need to be submitted in writing via letter or email so we have a copy of all correspondence. If you have a problem or complaint on the day, you must bring it to the attention of the organiser event staff at the venue as soon as possible in order for them rectify the matters as soon as possible.

It is vital your complaint is logged and you take the name of the member of staff you dealt with. In general, we consider it unreasonable if you take no action during an event and complain at a later date. In this circumstance, it is unlikely we will be able to take the matter further.

16. Data Protection

17. Other Terms and Conditions

All P1Karting experience prices, unless stated, are inclusive of VAT and are correct at the time of entry. We reserve the right to change the price of any product without notice. In the unlikely event of a price error on the website, we reserve the right to refuse the booking if we are unable to fulfil it.

P1karting.com reserves the right to change these terms from time to time without reference to customers and at short notice.
